How prepared are today’s educators for the 21st century and the digital transformation? How much are they able to support their students in acquiring 21st century skills?

Children are naturally our focus here at Yapan Çocuk. Teachers have the most impact on children when they are students. When we talk about 21st century skills, even though the focus is almost always on students, we believe that the role of teachers are even more critical in the big picture.

Being a teacher is an extraordinary job where a single person can impact the lives of thousands. When we contribute to the capabilities and knowledge of a teacher, we believe we have the potential to have an impact on thousands of students. This is why we work hard on providing the best train-the-trainer workshops possible and our priority is to reach as many teachers as possible through these workshops.

Digital Transformation Trainer Workshop

Duration: 1 day, Saturday

This is an Introduction to Digital Transformation training for educators. We will start with the impact of the digital transformation on different industries and businesses around the world and then move to new and different applications in education. The participant will both be informed about new trends in technology and new methods which are critical for cultivating 21st century skills in the digital age.

At the end of the training is a workshop to get prepared for the digital transformation in education. The participants will plan their own preparation and start creating a personal development roadmap.

Maker Movement Trainer Workshop

Süre: 4 days, Saturday and Sunday

Maker Movement Trainer Workshop was designed to inform the participants about the maker movement and have them get a good understanding of the fundamental education technologies.

As technology advances, its impact on the education system and tools also grows. This training was designed to help educators adapt well to the changes in education brought by advances in technology. We will step outside the boundaries of classical teaching methods to see what an educator can do in a student-focused education system. During the workshop, the participants will be trained in 3D modeling and printing, programming electronic boards, robotic programming and Android app development with a focus on developing 21st century skills.

At the end of each day of training, the participants will be encouraged to prepare new content for their own classes. After the training is over and the participants complete and share their content with us, feedback will be given to help develop it further.
